Life in our Care Homes this August

Our Magic Moments activities programme is jam-packed with things to do and learn, places to visit, live entertainment and exercise and relaxation sessions; it’s all about the joy of having fun together.

Whether we’re celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a cuppa and a chat, we welcome family, friends and members of our community to come along and join us.

Charlton Park, London, Herne Bay

Residents from Charlton Park Care Home took a trip Herne Bay and enjoyed a lovely fish and chips lunch. We ended the day with ice cream and a stroll by the sea.

Tudor House, Cannock, 80th birthday

We celebrated Tudor House Care Home resident Sheila’s 80th birthday by throwing her a surprise party with all of her family and friends.

Pennine Lodge, Carlisle, old cars

Kingston Care Home got stuck in to BBQ preparations.

Maple Lodge, Sunderland, Blackberry picking

David and Richard visited residents at Pennine Lodge Care Home and brought in their Rolls-Royce, Maybach and a Royal Enfield motorbike. Residents loved the cars as they reminded them of what they used to drive.

Redwell Hills, Consett, ice cream

Redwell Hills Care Home residents took a trip to Wheelbirks Ice Cream Parlour, it was a great way to cool ourselves down and enjoy some fresh air.

Riverside Court, Cumbria, birthday

Resident Sylvia at Riverside Court Care Home enjoyed getting birthday gifts from the team and her family and friends.

Kingston, Kingston-upon-Thames, Garden party

At Kingston Care Home we elected to go for a colour festival theme for our Garden Party, with cocktails, fruit salad, jellies and cupcakes. We had live entertainment and everyone dressed in their brightest clothes!

St Catherines, Horwich, garden party

We brought the beach to St Catherines Care Home with fish and chips as our refreshments at our garden party.

Maple Lodge, Sunderland, Garden Party

Residents at Maple Lodge Care Home prepared for our Summer Garden Party with handmade bunting and a welcome sign we made!
