A Warm Welcome to Burlington Court Care Home in Glasgow

You’ll find Burlington Court Care Home in a residential area of Queenslie, just five minutes from Glasgow Fort and a short drive away from Glasgow.

Burlington Court Care Home in Glasgow offers nursing care for people with complex medical needs, as well as nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions. We run a busy activities programme to make sure our residents get the most out of every day, including day trips out, pet therapy, visiting entertainers, and activities with other local care homes.

  • We go to the Gathamlock Church for High Tea on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month,
  • We attend the Shettleston Church dementia sing-a-long cafe twice each month,
  • Bible Stories Class every week for those who still practice and wish to attend,
  • Daily mobile shop visits to bring newspapers, sweets, cakes and sandwiches,
  • Weekly morning pamper sessions, and
  • Friday afternoon cinema for that ‘night at the movies’ feeling

A family member recently commented on carehome.co.uk: “I couldn’t be happier than I am with the care that my mother receives. I am pleased with the staff engagement with my mum and myself and can see that my mother’s needs are being met in many different ways. I appreciate being kept up to date with my mother’s progress in regard to health, diet and any other relevant information regarding her and the facility. I am also very pleased with the standard of hygiene throughout the home and also my mum’s own personal care. Overall the standards set by the home are in my opinion to a high and satisfactory standard.”

Key Information

We provide care for those who are publicly funded as well as those paying for their own care.

It’s important to get professional advice on the best way to fund the cost of care and we suggest that you take advice from a care fees expert to make sure that you have explored all the options available to you.

In order to make life easier we have contacted a national care fees planning specialist, Symponia who are dedicated to the financial issues of later life, in particular the payment of care fees. Through Symponia’s network of carefully selected and qualified financial advisers they offer you and/or your family member empathic, bespoke advice on the best way to fund weekly care fees. This approach ensures that not only are all our residents and their families aware of the legislation and how it works but they are able to explore all the financial options available to them.

It should be noted that Four Seasons Health Care and Symponia operate completely independently with no commission or financial benefit to Four Seasons Health Care as a result of your conversation or contract.

Trusted Feedback from Families & Residents

My mother has been in this facility for 8-10 weeks and has been looked after excellently, she has settled in now and looks more relaxed. The staff make things easy for my mother and us as a family and the care is exactly what we require as a family and my mother.
