A Warm Welcome to Campsie View Care Home in Kirkintilloch

You’ll find Campsie View Care Home is situated in ‘The Canal Capital of Scotland’, Kirkintilloch. We are close to public transport, making us easily accessible for visitors to pop-in for a chat.

Campsie View Care Home is only a short drive from Glasgow city centre, which makes for great days out for visitors. We are also a short walk away from the local park – a lovely day out for residents and their loved ones. The area around our homes has been named the ‘Best place to live in Scotland’ in a recent survey.  The drive up to the home may not be very inspiring – we are liaising with the landlord of the closed home at the top of our road to make this more appealing. However the warmth of our welcome and quality of our care and service more than makes up for this. We hope you agree when you come to visit.

We have a vibrant Magic Moments programme based on our current resident interests and likes. Here’s just a taster of what’s on offer:

  • Wednesday Afternoon Cinema Club
  • Weekly Quiz
  • Gardening Club starts in March each year
  • Walking group – we walk around the local area including the canals
  • Trips on the canal with The Seagull Trust
  • Trips out to the Kelvin Grove art gallery and The People’s Palace
  • Trips to Ayr, Largs and Blair Drummond Safari

We also have connections with local Churches that offer pastoral care visits and support residents to attend special services in the Church.

We are presently undergoing a refurbishment programme which will enhance the environment for the residents, this includes a sensory room.

Campsie View Care Home

Our Care at Campsie View Care Home

Our Care team offer a person-centred approach that is delivered through quality care, recreation and activities, and food and dining. We provide residential care for people who need help with daily tasks, and nursing care for those who have complex medical needs. We also provide both general nursing care and nursing dementia care for our residents who require it.

At Campsie View Care Home in 2023 we supported over 360 families with their care enquiry. The daughter of one of our residents said via carehome.co.uk:

“We have been absolutely delighted with Campsie View. Mum has been there for over a year now in the specialist dementia unit. When she moved in she was very confused, having been in hospital during lockdown. The improvement in her physical and mental well-being have been remarkable. All the staff are absolutely lovely and there is a real sense of compassion for Mum, which is so reassuring.”
At our care home in Glasgow, we provide a comprehensive range of services, including nursing care, and specialised nursing dementia care, respite care, and palliative care.

Key Information

We provide care for those who are publicly funded as well as those paying for their own care.

It’s important to get professional advice on the best way to fund the cost of care and we suggest that you take advice from a care fees expert to make sure that you have explored all the options available to you.

In order to make life easier we have contacted a national care fees planning specialist, Symponia who are dedicated to the financial issues of later life, in particular the payment of care fees. Through Symponia’s network of carefully selected and qualified financial advisers they offer you and/or your family member empathic, bespoke advice on the best way to fund weekly care fees. This approach ensures that not only are all our residents and their families aware of the legislation and how it works but they are able to explore all the financial options available to them.

It should be noted that Four Seasons Health Care and Symponia operate completely independently with no commission or financial benefit to Four Seasons Health Care as a result of your conversation or contract.
