A Warm Welcome to Campsie View Care Home in Kirkintilloch

Campsie View Care Home is located in Kirkintilloch, a Glasgow town famously known as "The Canal Capital of Scotland."

Situated close to several public transport links, just a short drive from Glasgow city center and a short walk from the local park, Campsie View Care Home is easily accessible for visitors to spend time with their loved ones. Recently named the “Best Place to Live in Scotland,” the area offers excellent local amenities and plenty of opportunities for enjoyable days out for both residents and visitors.

Our team offer a lively Magic Moments program tailored to our residents’ interests and preferences. Here are some of the activities our residents enjoy:

  • Wednesday Afternoon Cinema Club
  • Weekly Quiz
  • Gardening Club, starting every March
  • Walking group exploring the local area and canals
  • Canal trips with The Seagull Trust
  • Excursions to the Kelvin Grove Art Gallery and The People’s Palace
  • Trips to Ayr, Largs, and Blair Drummond Safari

We also collaborate with local churches to provide pastoral care visits and support residents who wish to attend special services.

Although the drive to our care home may not be the most scenic, we are working to improve the appeal of the area in partnership with the landlord of the nearby closed property. In addition, we are currently undergoing a refurbishment to improve the living environment for our residents, including the creation of a sensory room.

Rest assured, the warmth of our welcome and the high quality of our care and service will make your visit worthwhile.

“We have been absolutely delighted with Campsie View. Mum has been there for over a year now in the specialist dementia unit. When she moved in she was very confused, having been in hospital during lockdown. The improvement in her physical and mental well-being have been remarkable. All the staff are absolutely lovely and there is a real sense of compassion for Mum, which is so reassuring.”Daughter of Resident published on carehome.co.uk

Key Information

We provide care for those who are publicly funded as well as those paying for their own care.

It’s important to get professional advice on the best way to fund the cost of care and we suggest that you take advice from a care fees expert to make sure that you have explored all the options available to you.

In order to make life easier we have contacted a national care fees planning specialist, Symponia who are dedicated to the financial issues of later life, in particular the payment of care fees. Through Symponia’s network of carefully selected and qualified financial advisers they offer you and/or your family member empathic, bespoke advice on the best way to fund weekly care fees. This approach ensures that not only are all our residents and their families aware of the legislation and how it works but they are able to explore all the financial options available to them.

It should be noted that Four Seasons Health Care and Symponia operate completely independently with no commission or financial benefit to Four Seasons Health Care as a result of your conversation or contract.
